Donna was on a school coach trip with Largs Academy to France. In France the coach was involved in a serious road traffic accident which resulted in the coach landing on its side and all of the pupils receiving injuries to different degrees.

The insurers of the bus company immediately admitted that they were at fault. They arranged for a personal injury solicitor to attend a public meeting at the school to offer a claims service. Most of the pupils injured took the assistance of the solicitor and many of the claims settled for £1,000.
