Claimant: The Smith Family
Claim: West Lothian Road traffic accident Bo-ness
Award: £29,000 plus in compensation

The Smith Family Bo-ness, West Lothian Road traffic accident Three generations of the one family were involved in a very serious road traffic accident as a result of a head on collision.

The Grandmother was driving. The Mother, was in the front passenger seat wearing a seatbelt and the daughter aged only 8 at the time was in the rear seat wearing a seatbelt. They all sustained varying degrees of injury and all sought out the advice of Patrick McGuire.

The Mother received £29,000 in compensation and the daughter received £30,000 in compensation. The grandmother received £80,000.

This figure was particularly high when it is considered that she did not have any loss of earnings and the entire sum related to compensation for pain and suffering.
