Wendy Durie is a Partner with Redress Scotland and is currently based in the firm's Glasgow offices. She specialises in personal injury claims for injured parties.
Wendy has exclusively dealt with reparation claims for injured parties since she joined Redress in 1993. She is accredited as a specialist in personal injury law by the Law Society of Scotland.
Wendy has considerable experience in dealing with various types of accident claims as well as disease claims including industrial deafness, industrial dermatitis, stress at work, RSI and other process injury claims. She has experience in dealing with applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority and the Motor Insurers Bureau in respect of claims arising from the actions of uninsured and/or untraced drivers.
Wendy is Training Partner within Redress and has responsibility for organising the firm's Spring Training Day and its Annual Training Conference in autumn attended by all Thompsons' legal staff. In organising such training, Wendy ensures that all staff within Redress are kept abreast of current developments in the law and practice. She obtained a Certificate of Personnel Practice in January 2003.
Wendy is a member of APIL (The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers), an Association, dedicated to promoting the interests of accident victims and the improvement of services provided by the personal injury lawyer.
